The Mediterranean Studies minor, offered by DLLC's programs in languages which border the Mediterranean Sea, explores the intrinsic legacies and traditions of this geographical site through a highly language-focused program. A minor in Mediterranean Studies allows students the opportunity to explore the relationships among the peoples living in this geographic center, from antiquity to contemporary times, with a focus on topical issues such as immigration and migration, cultural identity, and diversity.
The 21-credit minor is composed of English-language courses as well as classes in one of the following languages: Ancient Greek, Arabic, French, Italian, Latin, or Spanish.
